House Cleaning FAQ’s

Which Areas do you cover?

The True Comfort Cleaning Company covers Manchester and the surrounding areas including:

Manchester Stockport Cheadle Gatley  Sale Urmston Stretford Hale Chorlton Wilmslow Fallowfield Didsbury Wythenshawe Baguley Altrincham.  If you are a little further out, then call or email me and I’ll try my best to accommodate you.

Are you and your cleaners fully insured?

Yes, all the work completed by The True Comfort Cleaning Company  is fully insured. A copy of our insurance certificate can be seen on request.

I have used cleaning companies before what is different about this one?

Comfort Cleaning Services aims to be one of the most reliable and fastidious cleaning companies in Manchester.  And as this is a privately owned company I train my staff to a high standard and will spot check any work carried out by our staff to keep standards high.  And to get the right attitude in my staff, I will only employ people who love to clean and see this as a career and not just a job

Can I book a cleaner for a one off clean?

Yes

How do I know that I can trust a stranger in my house?

As this is my company and I will be visiting you to set up the initial cleans, have a look on my website and you will see a photo of what I look like, so you will know it’s me when I call.  After you have spoken to me for a while and met me your mind will be at ease, and if nothing else it is my company and I have everything to lose if I am not truly trustworthy.

How do I pay?

You can either pay directly by BACS, cash or cheque made payable to Elaine Blidgeon

I am unsure about how many hours to book

As part of our service we offer a free house clean audit and free quote.  This is where we will do a walkthrough of your home and price the jobs needed doing and frequency for you there and then and then you can decide how many hours you want.

Is there a minimum amount of hours I can book you for?

Yes 3 hours is our minimum for standard and regular cleaning.  One off cleans are longer, as too is the initial clean we always do for our new customers.

How do you price your services?

We take into consideration the type of home you live in, size, number of people, if you have any pets and your special requirements.  We have found that no two houses are the same even if they are techncially the same size, so we price accordingly.  There are other factors we use and we give you a comprehensive booklet explaining our services when we meet for the first time.

What if I’m not happy with your service?

We’ve found that it’s not the initial clean that customers aren’t happy with, they rave about that, it’s the subsequent cleans that causes concern,  and for good reason, the standard clean is not the same as a deep clean and this can cause confusion.

Basically the ‘I’m not happy with your service’ comes down to these factors
1.  How much time is spent cleaning the house
2.  The type of owner and how they manage the cleaner
3.  The type of cleaner and how s/he manages the householder
4.  Managing expectations.
